Job Overview

Fairview is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their Neurosurgery team within Fairview Health Services. This role supports neurosurgical services across the Twin Cities with coverage organized into South and East regional teams.

About the Role

This position offers a broad and dynamic scope of practice, encompassing inpatient care, operative support, and clinic responsibilities. The NP evaluates, diagnoses, and manages neurosurgery critical care and telemetry patients, contributing to both acute and longitudinal care plans. This role provides the opportunity to practice in a highly collaborative environment while developing expertise across varied clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited master’s level or higher NP program
• MN Advanced Practice RN Certification by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification (APN, FNP, GNP) or by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC Certified Nurse)
• Able to obtain and/or maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Assoc)
• At least 2+ years of previous experience as a provider in neurosurgery, neurocritical care, etc is preferred

Pay

The posted pay range is for a 1.0 FTE. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
