Nurse Practitioner - Neurology

About the role

Nurse Practitioner supporting outpatient memory care within a multidisciplinary team focused on diagnosing and managing cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimers, mild cognitive impairment, and Lewy body dementia.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing individualized care plans for memory disorders
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and cognitive assessments
• Providing medication management and longitudinal follow-up
• Offering education and support to patients and caregivers
• Collaborating with neurologists, neuropsychologists, and research staff
• Participating in clinical research and innovative care models

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner certification
• DEA license and BLS certification
• Interest or experience in neurology, geriatrics, psychiatry, or cognitive disorders preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
