About the role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a neurocritical care team in an inpatient setting at a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Responsibilities
- Clinical management of patients
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Interpreting tests
- Prescribing medications
- Providing patient education
- Opportunities to develop expertise in neurologic and critical care
Qualifications
- Current Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification
- DEA license
- BLS
- ACLS
- ENLS training preferred (can be completed shortly after hire)
- Prior inpatient or neuroscience experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as on-the-job training is provided
Work environment
Full-time, 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends, with a focus on work/life balance and professional growth.
