About the role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic inpatient team in a Level II Trauma Center's Stroke Unit.
Responsibilities
- Clinical management of patients
- Performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
- Interpreting diagnostic tests
- Prescribing medications
- Educating patients
- Growth opportunities to develop expertise in neurologic and critical care
Qualifications
- Current Acute Care Nurse Practitioner board certification
- DEA license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- ENLS training preferred (can be completed within 1 month)
- Open to experienced and new graduates
- Ideal candidates appreciate a team-based approach and may have neuroscience or critical care background
