Nurse Practitioner Intensivist-Hospitalist
Job Summary
You will contribute to the fulfillment of the mission and vision and strategic initiatives by providing medical care to patients under the direction of a supervising physician. Every day, you will provide a comprehensive assessment and examination of the patient's medical, physical, and psychological status. You will develop medical care plans, implement and manage a treatment plan, periodically assess the patient's medical needs, and provide patient education and counseling.
Responsibilities
- Meticulous clinical assessment and critical decision-making in high-acuity settings
- Critical care management, including transfer service and admission
- Providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including critical care, from the Emergency Department or transferred from an outside hospital
- Inpatient care, including ICU coverage and bedside presence for decompensation or patient issues
- Facilitating ongoing communication and collaboration with the health care team to ensure optimal care while in the hospital and upon discharge
- Strategic contribution to the fulfillment of the organization's mission and vision

- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire

Pay Range: $15.26 - $30.50 /hour
