About the role
RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing, clinician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of primary care services.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan
- See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management
- Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records
- Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional)
- Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related primary care specialty)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Rhode Island
- Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care
- Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment
- Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)
Qualifications
- Experience in primary care settings preferred
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
