About the role

RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing, clinician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of primary care services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan
  • See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
  • Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management
  • Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
  • Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records
  • Perform in-office procedures based on experience and scope of practice (optional)
  • Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related primary care specialty)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Rhode Island
  • Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) or eligibility to obtain
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered, value-based primary care
  • Strong clinical judgment with ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment
  • Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Experience in primary care settings preferred
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
