Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology - PRN

About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner with expertise in cardiovascular nursing, you will provide daily evaluations of cardiac patients in various settings, including the Cath Lab, Emergency Department (ED), and inpatient units. This role emphasizes collaboration, patient-centered care, and contributions to research and education within a community-based hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians within approved protocols to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform thorough patient assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Participate in education, consultation, and research activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland licensure as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• ANCC certification.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
