Nurse Practitioner (AM Shift)

Location: 3065 W. Bancroft St. Unit A, Toledo, OH 43606

About the Role

This position is within the Urgent Care & Infusion Center, reporting to the Medical Director/Managing Partners. The role involves rotating between Urgent Care and Infusion Center duties, with a focus on clinical responsibilities in both settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical (H&P) exams
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and injuries
• Prescribe medications and treatments per Ohio law
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, EKGs)
• Perform suturing, wound care, incision and drainage (I&D), and splinting
• Administer and monitor IV infusions
• Manage infusion reactions and complications
• Use EMR systems (e.g., Kareo, DrChrono, AdvancedMD)
• Familiarity with ICD-10/CPT coding

Requirements

• State of Ohio Nurse Practitioner License (active)
• Board Certification (NP-C, FNP, AGNP, or other)
• Prescriptive Authority (CNP - Rx)
• DEA Registration (active or pending)
• NPI Number
• BLS Certification (required)
• ACLS Certification (required)
• PALS, DOT, or POCUS certifications (preferred)
• Willingness to rotate between Urgent Care and Infusion Center duties
• Willingness to work holidays or extended shifts if needed

Schedule

Availability is flexible and may include:

• Monday through Sunday (morning, afternoon, or evening shifts)
