Nurse Practitioner (AGNP or PHMP) – Contract to Hire (Independent Contractor)

About the role

This role begins as a 1099 independent contractor position, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on mutual interest, performance, and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health and cognitive care services to residents of independent and assisted living communities
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team
• Offer flexible scheduling to support a healthy work-life balance

Requirements

• AGNP or PHMP with an active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
• Genuine passion for working with the geriatric population
• Strong clinical judgment and confidence in developing treatment plans
• Solid foundation in psychopharmacology with an interest in continued learning
• Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Experience in geriatric mental health and cognitive care
• Proven track record of effective communication and collaboration
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing healthcare
