Purpose Statement

To see patients that are clients of Northstar Behavioral Health’s Medical Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facilities, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and VP of Operations to provide optimum care to the patients in the facilities
• Work with CMO to manage care for clients
• Collaborate with Nursing Leadership on client needs
• Travel to all NBH locations based on client need
• Follow the Suboxone prescribing guidelines per NBH guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

• Suboxone Waiver required
• Licensed in the state of Minnesota as a APRN in good standing

Additional Skills And Experience

• Previous addiction medicine experience
• Experience with mental health medications
