Nurse (part-time)

Responsibilities

• Administering medication to clients as outlined in medication administration policy.
• Control, counting, and appropriate documentation of onsite medication.
• Educating clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication assisted treatment.
• Verifying medication orders with the physician and transcribing physician’s orders.
• Aiding in the admission process and documenting substance use diagnosis as required.

Requirements

• MA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• A current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Use of appropriate independent judgment to resolve problems and in emergencies.
• Able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.

Qualifications

Pay

$36.50/hour (LPN), $38.50/hour (RN). $3.00/hour weekend differential.

Schedule

Part-time. 32 hours a week, every other weekend required. Week 1: Sunday (Middlesex) Week 2: Monday (Middlesex) Monday (Middlesex) Tuesday (Barnstable) Tuesday (Barnstable) Friday (Barnstable) Friday (Barnstable) Saturday (Middlesex).
