Nurse (Outpatient)

About the role

Nurses at the Indian Health Service (IHS) are dedicated to improving the health of American Indian and Alaska Native communities. They provide compassionate care in areas where it is most needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care to patients in underserved communities.
• Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Additional requirements may include:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience working in an IHS facility preferred.
• Knowledge of American Indian and Alaska Native culture and healthcare systems.
