About the role
The Oral Surgery Nurse provides patient care in a surgical setting, performing routine nursing duties such as interviewing patients, maintaining records, preparing and administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting in recovery and discharge. They assemble and maintain clinical supplies, clean equipment, and perform other related duties to support the practice's operations.
Requirements
- Current state-licensed registered nurse
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or obtainable within 6 months
- Minimum of two years of experience preferred
- Strong observational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Experience with intravenous medications
- Ability to exercise tact, initiative, good judgment, and maintain accurate records
