Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
  • Provides and manages quality patient care.
  • Demonstrates leadership in the coordination of the BHC outpatient services.
  • Supervises the Care Coordinators as necessary.
  • Captors health education for patients.
  • Works collaboratively with the Sr Division Manager on the daily clinical associated activities for the Breast Center.
  • Aids in the research of the medical aspects of particular studies.
  • Performs other related duties as requested or directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with 3 to 5 years nursing experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must have and maintain CPR certification.
  • Oncology Nursing Society certification preferred and or obtained within two years of hire.
  • Nursing Navigation Certification Preferred and or obtained within two years of hire.
  • Must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Rhode Island.
  • Must be proficient in the English language.
