Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
- Provides and manages quality patient care.
- Demonstrates leadership in the coordination of the BHC outpatient services.
- Supervises the Care Coordinators as necessary.
- Captors health education for patients.
- Works collaboratively with the Sr Division Manager on the daily clinical associated activities for the Breast Center.
- Aids in the research of the medical aspects of particular studies.
- Performs other related duties as requested or directed.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with 3 to 5 years nursing experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have and maintain CPR certification.
- Oncology Nursing Society certification preferred and or obtained within two years of hire.
- Nursing Navigation Certification Preferred and or obtained within two years of hire.
- Must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Rhode Island.
- Must be proficient in the English language.
