Monday-Friday 8-1630, weekends based on department needs
Responsibilities
- Conducts new patient interviews and assesses patient's function, health, and educational needs.
- Maintains patient's lab values, test results, and progress.
- Provides patient/family education.
- Collaborates with discharge planners to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to outside agencies.
Preferred Requirements
- Masters Degree
- Specialty certification, Certified Heart Failure Nurse or Cardiac Nurse Specialist
- Strong cardiology or ICU background
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- No prior supervisor experience required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
