Nurse Manager - Radiology Services

As the Nurse Manager, you will oversee nursing operations for Interventional Radiology and CT services across multiple locations, ensuring exceptional patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and effective resource utilization while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional excellence.

Work locations include UHS Wilson Medical Center (Johnson City, NY) and UHS Binghamton General Hospital (Binghamton, NY). The role may require floating across multiple UHS facilities; expectations will be clarified during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Assessment: Develop, maintain, and evaluate patient and staff data collection systems to support nursing practice and care delivery.
- Problems/Diagnosis: Create and sustain an environment that empowers professional nurses to analyze assessment data and determine relevant problems and diagnoses.
- Identification of Outcomes: Develop, maintain, and evaluate information systems and processes that promote patient/client/resident-defined professional and organizational outcomes.
- Planning/Implementation: Establish and oversee organizational systems that facilitate the implementation of care plans across the continuum.
- Evaluation: Assess the progress of care plans in relation to the attainment of outcomes.
- Quality of Care and Administrative Practice: Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and administrative services.
- Performance Appraisal: Evaluate personal performance based on professional practice standards, relevant statutes, rules, regulations, and organizational criteria.
- Professional Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of healthcare organizations to advance nursing practice and the provision of quality healthcare services.
- Professional Environment: Provide and promote a professional work environment.
- Ethics: Base decisions and actions on ethical principles.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Research: Support research and its integration into nursing practice and healthcare delivery.
- Resource Utilization: Evaluate and administer the resources of nursing services.
Performs other non-essential duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required).
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible, relevant clinical experience (required).
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License (required).
- Previous supervisory experience (preferred).
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field (preferred).
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (e.g., Nursing Administration or clinical practice area) (preferred).

Pay
Compensation range: $54.17 - $81.25 per hour, depending on experience.
Sign-on bonus: Up to $25,000 for eligible candidates.
