Nurse Manager - Postpartum Services - Full-Time Day Shift

Role Overview: The Nurse Manager oversees Postpartum Services (NICU and Mother Baby Unit), providing leadership, management, and ensuring clinical and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage unit staff through shared governance, fostering a patient-centered care environment.Act as chief retention and safety officer, managing resources and promoting safety standards.Analyze financial and operational data to improve performance, utilizing quality improvement tools.Promote effective communication, teamwork, and professional development among staff and interdisciplinary teams.Ensure staff competency, uphold professional standards, and support staff onboarding and growth.Advance evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement initiatives.Identify risks, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and utilize data for decision-making. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Master’s preferred).Active RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact, with current BLS certification.Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of healthcare financing, quality improvement, and safety standards.Commitment to professional growth, ethical practice, and fostering a positive work environment.
