About the role
Nurse Managers are responsible for overseeing the quality of patient care, managing staff, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the caliber of treatment and care provided to patients.
- Direct the staffing and administration of a nursing unit or floor.
- Facilitate a team culture that encourages and rewards excellence in patient care.
- Manage the financial, human, and other resources for the provision of quality patient care for an assigned area over a twenty-four hour period.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing; Nursing Administration preferred.
- Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania required.
- Three (3) years of nursing experience, including hospital clinical practice experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Seven (7) years of OR experience strongly preferred.
- CNOR certification preferred or within one year of hire.
- Previous leadership experience required.
Qualifications
