Nurse Manager - Oncology Clinic

About the role

Join a growing Oncology Clinic as a Nurse Manager in a newly created leadership position. Lead a team of 20-25 staff members and support continued growth across Medical Oncology services to drive exceptional patient, staff, and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Model SLHS Leadership Competencies and core values, including professionalism, innovation, adaptability, independent judgment, and solid decision-making skills.
• Accountable for the development, implementation, and evaluation of care provided in the clinic, consistent with the established strategic plan goals and objectives for Patient-Centered Care.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify areas of improvement regarding practice policies and processes.
• Support optimal care requiring specialized knowledge, critical thinking, and skills based on principles of psychological, social, physical, and biological sciences utilizing the nursing process.
• Drive employee engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to exceed customer expectations in a patient-centered and healing environment.
• Maintain all clinical competencies if required due to the size and structure of the clinic and may occasionally be counted in staffing.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Missouri and Kansas.
• BSN required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience.
