Nurse Manager - Inpatient Rehab
Job Details
- Supervise the provision of nursing care, treatment, and services on the assigned shift or unit
- Ensure all required patient care activities are completed to standard
- Assign appropriate nursing personnel and confirm adequate staffing coverage
- Identify staff training needs and partner with other organizational leaders on resources and development
- Provide leadership that keeps procedures implemented consistently while delivering compassionate, patient-specific rehab care
- Resolve issues, set direction, and maintain accountability for patient and staff results
- Recognize and celebrate patient victories throughout the rehabilitation journey
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- BLS certification required; ACLS to be obtained within one year of start
- CRRN certification to be obtained within one year of meeting eligibility requirements
- Five years of nursing experience, including two years recently in an inpatient hospital setting
- Prior leadership experience (charge nurse, lead, or equivalent) with interim reporting, issue resolution, direction-setting, and accountability for patient and staff outcomes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
