About the role

The Nurse Intern performs basic nursing procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Flexibility is key, as assignments can change rapidly. The intern is accountable for all patient care during a shift and is responsible for adhering to all nursing standards and fostering teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing procedures
• Maintains flexibility for rapidly changing assignments
• Carries out assigned tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Adheres to nursing standards and promotes teamwork

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Successfully completed medical surgical nursing course and clinical
• Must successfully pass the NCLEX within 90 days after graduation from nursing program
• Maximum length of time in role is 15 months

Qualifications

• High School, GED, Cert, Trn, Exper.
• Basic Life Support

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $23.50 / hour depending on shift as applicable.
