Nurse II (Part Time/Third Shift)
The Nurse II (Part Time/Third Shift) position at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center requires:
- A license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
- One year of full-time oncology nursing experience, or
- Two years of full-time medical-surgical experience in an acute care setting, or
- Completion of Roswell Park nursing orientation after one year of full-time medical-surgical experience as a Nurse I.
Qualifications include:
- Education from an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience in oncology, critical care, or medical-surgical settings.
- Ability to function independently for three months as a Nurse I at Roswell Park.
This role involves:
- Expert patient care and health teaching.
- Counseling and delivering interventions to support well-being.
- Collaborating with physicians and licensed providers.
- Participating in professional development opportunities.
The starting rate of pay for this position is $47.58 per hour.
