About the Role
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission invites you to interview for Registered Nurse and future Graduate Nurse openings on September 10th from 3pm - 6pm. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for eligible positions. Night differentials increased to $6/hour. New pay rates for RN positions with a Graduate Nurse rate of $35.50/hour for inpatient areas.
Inpatient areas attending include:
- ICU
- Cardiac Care Unit
- Med Surg
- Ortho Oncology
- Behavioral
- PCU
- Heart Neuro Vascular Unit
- Emergency Department
- Labor and Delivery
- Mother Baby
- NICU
Responsibilities
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Ability to work as a team player within a unit
- Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
- EKG (based on patient; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)
- Assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (read, verbal, and written skills)
- Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs
- High level of abstract reasoning
Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's of Nursing (Preferred)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
