Nurse Externship

Role: Nursing Extern — a paid, hands-on learning experience designed for nursing students eager to develop practical skills and confidence in a clinical setting. Responsibilities: Rotate through various nursing units, work approximately 24 hours per week, and collaborate with experienced nurses and preceptors to gain exposure to diverse patient populations and specialties. Develop critical-thinking, clinical skills, and professional connections while practicing real-world nursing in a supportive environment. Qualifications: Completion of at least 2 semesters of nursing coursework, including one clinical rotation, prior to the start of the externship.
