About the Role
The Nurse Extern PRN Trauma assists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care under RN supervision in a leading trauma and neuroscience center with advanced services and technology.
Responsibilities
- Perform delegated basic patient care activities
- Support patients with activities of daily living
- Communicate pertinent patient information
- Document care in electronic systems
- Help maintain a safe, clean environment
- Perform higher-level procedures upon competency
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good standing
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS certification
- Completion of initial nursing coursework or experience as a CNA in early RN program
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (required within 30 days of start)
