About the Role

Assist nursing staff by performing delegated patient care services and supporting daily activities of patients. Provide compassionate, holistic care while respecting patient rights and dignity. Help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain a safe, organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care services under nursing staff supervision
• Communicate relevant patient information to team members
• Document patient care in electronic records
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintain a safe and organized care environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current enrollment in an accredited RN nursing program (can be considered after first semester or as a CNA in first RN semester)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training (within 30 days of start date)
• Ability to perform higher-level procedures upon competency achievement
