About the role
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse the Nurse Extern provides basic nursing skills and care within the patient and family centered care model.
Shift: Nights • FTE: 0.010000
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care
- Phlebotomy
- EKG
- Basic nursing skills
to facilitate quality service outcomes.
Requirements
- Education: Enrollment in a BSN program and completion of at least the third year of the program. Or enrollment in Associate Nursing program with completion of at least one year of the nursing curriculum.
- Experience: One year clinical experience as a Nursing Assistant in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Credentials: BLS through AHA or Red Cross.
