About the role

The Medical-Surgical Educator position is highly autonomous, requiring self-motivation in the development, implementation, and maintenance of education programs. The hours are flexible and structured to meet employee, patient and physician needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop education programs for multiple departments.
• Maintain accurate records documenting required annual education and competency.
• Coordinate education activities across various departments.

Qualifications

• Effective presentation skills.
• Obtain instructor status for basic BLS and ACLS within 18 months of employment.
• Knowledgeable regarding technology and computer applications for presentations.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work requirements.
• MSN degree.

Licenses & Certifications

• Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License.
