About the role
As the Nurse Educator at Springhill, you'll play a key role in developing and mentoring nursing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and driving clinical excellence. Your leadership and expertise will help ensure residents receive the highest quality care while supporting the growth and success of our nursing team.
- Primary responsibilities include infection control preventionist, oversight of the restorative nursing program, and education in the SNF.
- Work with the Director of Nursing to assist with audits, regulatory concerns, state surveys, and other areas that need addressing.
- In the event of staffing needs, assist with covering charge nurse or medication pass.
- Assist with new hire and annual competencies, participate in monthly and quarterly QAPI meetings.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of Geriatric Nursing and experience in supervision of others.
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Infection Preventionist Certification preferred but willing to assist with obtaining the certification.
Schedule
Full-time: Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with one weekend a month of on-call coverage for the nursing department.
Pay
$76,000 – $90,000, depending upon years of experience.
