Qualifications

• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
• Necessary Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Preferred Education: Master's Degree.
• Necessary Skills: Organized and self-motivated, able to work independently, assertive, good verbal and written communication skills, knowledgeable in adult education principles, excellent interpersonal skills with patients and families, staff, physicians, other disciplines and administration.
• Necessary Licensure/Certifications: Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida, BLS from the American Heart Association is required for all areas, ACLS from the American Heart Association is required for Surgery Center North (633480), PALS from the American Heart Association is required within six (6) months of hire or transfer for Surgery Center North (633480).
• Required Experience: 1-2 years - Formal or informal teaching/training adult education, 3-5 years - Supervision, Over 5 years - Clinical Specialty.
• Preferred Experience: NRP, PALS, BLS/ACLS Instructor preferred per clinical area.
