Nurse Educator Generalist

About the Role

The Nurse Educator enhances clinical practice and patient care by developing and delivering evidence-based educational programs for nursing and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages, and evaluates onboarding, orientation, and competency programs for healthcare personnel.
• Designs educational activities to address practice gaps and improve knowledge, skills, and practice.
• Promotes evidence-based practice (EBP) and participates in research, quality improvement, and lifelong learning initiatives.
• Collaborates with leadership to tailor educational content and foster staff development across the novice-to-expert continuum.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; Master’s preferred.
• 2+ years in clinical education, leadership, or academia; experience in acute care preferred.
• Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Nationally recognized specialty certification is a plus.
