About the Role

Supports classroom and clinical teaching in collaboration with nurse educators and administrators, providing high-quality instruction and engagement in clinical, lab, and simulation settings to help students meet course outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction for clinical and nursing lab courses.
  • Supervise student clinical experiences across various healthcare settings.
  • Engage with students to foster meaningful learning and track progress.
  • Provide current, organized course content supporting student success.
  • Evaluate student performance using approved tools and communicate progress.
  • Create an inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environment.
  • Maintain professional credentials, participate in development activities, and complete required documentation.
  • Model professional nursing behaviors and adhere to institutional policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing; minimum 3 years of recent RN experience in relevant settings.
  • Unencumbered RN license; ability to obtain Oregon licensure if necessary.
  • Current BLS certification and immunizations.
  • Desired: Master's degree in nursing or enrollment in a related program, experience in curriculum development, long-term care, and working with diverse populations.
