Nurse Clinician-PT

About the role

The role involves recruiting and screening potential study subjects, maintaining manual of operations, administering questionnaires, EKGs, and vital signs. This is a part-time position, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and screen potential study subjects and administer questionnaires.
• Create and maintain all documents and case report forms related to the study; maintain ongoing manual of operations and interface with the IRB, R&D, and DSMB to ensure all study documents and continuing reviews are accurate and up-to-date.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy, including centrifuging, freezing, and shipping of samples.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and registered nurse license in the state of Georgia with at least three years of clinical experience in a specialized area.
• OR Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and registered nurse license in the state of Georgia with at least six years of clinical experience in a specialized area.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS/BCLS certification.

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.

Shift/Salary/Benefits

• Part-time: 0.50 FTE
• Shift: Days (including weekends)
• Pay Band: B13
• Salary: $32.93/hourly - $43.26/hourly
• Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
