About the Role

We are looking for experienced, dermatology Medical Assistants - or LPN's / RN's to come join our team in Omaha, NE

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
• Administering medications and treatments
• Documenting care in the electronic medical record
• Cooking up patient follow-up
• Maintaining compliance with clinical and safety standards
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, electrodessication and curettage, I&DMohs micrographic skin cancer surgery, phototherapy, injections, Koh preps, trichograms, Tzank preps, dermabrasion, patch testing, blue light

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Post High School Education In a Medical Support Field
• Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations to continue employment
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Possess organizational and communication skills
• Work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Work well both individually and as part of a team
