Dermatology Specialists of Omaha is Hiring - LPN or RN
About the Role
We are looking for experienced, dermatology Medical Assistants - or LPN's / RN's to come join our team in Omaha, NE
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Administering medications and treatments
- Documenting care in the electronic medical record
- Cooking up patient follow-up
- Maintaining compliance with clinical and safety standards
- Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, electrodessication and curettage, I&DMohs micrographic skin cancer surgery, phototherapy, injections, Koh preps, trichograms, Tzank preps, dermabrasion, patch testing, blue light
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Post High School Education In a Medical Support Field
- Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is strongly preferred
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
- Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations to continue employment
- Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
- Possess organizational and communication skills
- Work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
- Work well both individually and as part of a team
