Nurse Case Manager- Los Angeles, CA

About the role

The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Case Manager to support injured workers throughout their recovery journey while coordinating with physicians, employers, claims professionals, and other members of the care team. This independent, field-based role serves Los Angeles and surrounding areas, using clinical expertise and communication skills to coordinate care, facilitate appointments, and help injured workers navigate the workers’ compensation process.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and facilitate appointments for injured workers
• Help injured workers navigate the workers’ compensation process
• Meet with injured workers and attend medical appointments
• Communicate with healthcare providers, employers, and claims professionals
• Perform documentation, follow‑up, and care coordination
• Manage a caseload independently, with approximately 80–85% of the workweek spent traveling throughout the assigned territory
• Maintain reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned service area

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in ICU, ER, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurology, or other acute care specialties
• Previous Workers’ Compensation Case Management experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and care coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively

Pay

$100,000–$130,000 annually + monthly bonus opportunity
