About the role
The position requires a registered nurse with a minimum of an Associate's in Applied Science in Nursing and at least two years of experience in an acute or tertiary care facility. A Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and five years of relevant experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across all age groups in hospital units or office settings, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Observe universal blood and body fluid precautions, utilize appropriate personal protective equipment, and adhere to isolation protocols.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance with level 4 access to patient information, including sensitive data.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Strong clinical skills in acute care settings and ability to work in close quarters with healthcare team members.
- Ability to operate within a protected and compliant environment, following safety and privacy guidelines.
