About the role

We are seeking a caring, detail-oriented individual to work with us as we seek to provide quality care in an environment that promotes a sense of well-being and the feeling of true community in a homelike setting.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents, their families and medical providers
• Work with caregivers and medication assistants
• Implement daily nursing activities for assisted living and memory care residents
• Build long-term, meaningful relationships with residents
• Focus on quality of life and promote individuality and choice
• Create partnerships with the clinical and care teams
• Respond to changes in condition with strong assessment skills
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and medical providers
• Teach and train effectively

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Current Nursing License
• Minimum of two years experience as a nurse
• Current negative TB test
• CPR certification
• Ability to pass criminal record/background check
• Good time management skills
• Self-starter with a focus on attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience in caring for seniors or other specialty population groups is preferred
