About the Role
Implements nursing activities for occupational health services and ensures compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations at Caterpillar Inc. Responsibilities
- Provides on-site nursing care for employee safety in the workplace.
- Investigates accidents and inspects health or safety hazards.
- Ensures the implementation of occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
- Provides health and safety awareness information to promote overall employee health.
- Assists in initiating and coordinating patient care plans for a client company.
Requirements
- Accredited Registered Nurse (RN) degree.
- Current state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)/First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and ability to apply them to daily work activities.
- Knowledge of nursing assessment and care, including developing and implementing nursing care plans.
- Ability to assess and diagnose patients in diverse situations.
- Knowledge of medical devices and tools for patient evaluation and treatment.
Skills
- Interpersonal Relationships: Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with a variety of individuals and groups.
- Medical Record Keeping: Knowledge of methods and tools for documenting, managing, and maintaining patient medical records.
- Clinical Leadership: Ability to balance business needs with patient care priorities.
- Office Support Tools: Proficiency in commonly used office software (e.g., word processing, email, presentation software, spreadsheets).
Schedule
Monday–Friday day shift with core hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This position requires working onsite five days a week.
Pay
Summary pay range: $89,210.00 – $133,810.00. Compensation and benefits may vary based on job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
