About the role
Provides patient care under the direction of registered nurse. Activities will vary in relationship to area of assignment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Performs treatments and procedures as listed by Nursing Services Department.
- Documents procedures and ensures proper nursing care is given to patients.
- Affords assistance with patient teaching under the guidance of registered nurse.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months health care-related experience and/or training.
- CPR or BLS certification preferred.
- State Certification as a CNA for the State of Michigan preferred.
