About the role

The CRNA cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation
• Anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence
• Post-anesthetic care
• Pain management
• Responding to emergency situations related to airway management and cardiac life support techniques

Requirements

Maintains active Alabama RN/APN license. Current certification / recertification NBCRNA. Maintains current ACLS, PALS and BLS certification.

Qualifications

Graduate from an NBCRNA accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
