About the role
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) supporting surgical services in a high-acuity hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia following protocols
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patient risks
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to changes
- Communicate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Conduct post-anesthesia evaluations and ensure safe recovery
- Document anesthesia plans, intraoperative events, and outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with CRNA program completion
- Active CRNA license and NBCRNA certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Post-Master's certification from a COA-accredited program
- Critical thinking, clinical judgment, and ability to work in fast-paced settings
- Pediatric anesthesia experience is a plus
