About the role

The role involves administering anesthesia in collaboration with anesthesiologists, performing pre- and post-anesthesia assessments, and preparing supplies and equipment for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating room scheduling
• Set up IV fluids
• Manage airway and sedation under supervision
• Support post-anesthesia care, including medication administration and respiratory management
• Check supplies
• Order medications
• Ensure safety protocols

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Unencumbered RN license in the state
• Certification by the NBCRNA within a year of graduation
• BCLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
