Nurse Anesthesia Faculty - Part-Time Non-Tenure Stream

About the role

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing seeks qualified applicants for part-time, non-tenure stream faculty positions in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia. Responsibilities

• Evidence of or potential for a sustained and impactful program of scholarship.
• Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Minimum of 2 years as a full-time practicing CRNA and teaching Anesthesia students.
• Experience in developing curricular materials and teaching in both clinical and classroom settings.

Requirements

• An earned doctorate (DNP or PhD) in nursing or a related field.
• Eligibility for RN licensure in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Assistant Professor: Doctorate in nursing or related field, evidence of scholarship, teaching, and mentoring.
• Associate Professor: Doctorate in nursing or related field, sustained and nationally recognized scholarship, teaching, mentoring, and leadership.
• Professor: Doctorate in nursing or related field, sustained and internationally recognized scholarship, teaching, mentoring, and leadership.

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as a full-time practicing CRNA and teaching Anesthesia students.
• Experience in developing curricular materials and teaching in both clinical and classroom settings.
