About the role

The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long-term care facility in Hanson, Kentucky dedicated to serving Kentucky’s Veterans. They foster independence, preserve dignity, and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, dental, oral, and nail care.
• Assists residents with medical appointments and transports them.
• Assists residents with bowel and bladder functions.
• Performs total physical care, including assisting with meals, medical appointments, and helping meet physical and psychosocial needs.

Requirements

• Must possess current registration with the Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry as administered by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and Kentucky Board of Nursing.
• Maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.

Locality Premium: $6.23 per hour
