Responsibilities
- Measuring vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
- Completing patient intake processes
- Monitoring and reporting patient status changes to healthcare providers
- Assisting with equipment setup under supervision
- Answering phone calls, relaying messages, and scheduling appointments
- Processing instruments and maintaining sterilization protocols
- Documenting patient data in EMR systems
- Potentially serving as a backup scheduler and participating in staff meetings
- Adhering to legal and ethical standards, including confidentiality and compliance with laws
- Reporting illegal activities and maintaining regular attendance
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Preferably healthcare experience
- Successful completion of Nursing Assistant classes and registry maintenance
