Nurse Aide (In Training)

Job Duties: Performs any combination of following duties in care of residents under direction of nursing and medical staff. Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents’ needs. Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents. Serves and collect food trays and feeds residents requiring help after training. Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk. Turns and repositions residents requiring physical assistance, alone or with assistance, to maintain good skin integrity. Changes bed linens, run errands, direct visitors, and answers telephone as needed. Food and fluid intake and output, as directed. Cleans, sterilizes, stores, prepares, and issues supplies as needed. Reports resident status to the nurse on duty and documents in the written medical record as required. May be assigned other duties. Concord Health Systems shall not use any individual working in a facility as a nurse aide if within four (4) months the individual has not completed and passed the nurse aide training and competency testing.
