Responsibilities
- Complete patient cares and documentation accurately and in a timely manner according to policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Demonstrate a desire to grow as an employee, team member, and facility contributor by participating in meetings and training.
- Contribute valuable input to the patient’s care planning process as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Assess and provide direct resident care needs, including supervised personal and rehabilitative care, to maintain or improve functional abilities, comfort, independence, and safety.
- Report safety concerns, abnormal parameters, or patient health concerns to the nurse.
- Encourage patients to participate in their own activities of daily living and other aspects of the plan of care.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from the South Dakota Board of Nursing (preferred).
- 1+ years of related experience (preferred).
Schedule
Requires the ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department.
Pay
Starting pay rate range: $18.20 - $20.92 per hour, determined by the knowledge, skills, and experience of the applicant.

Physical Requirements
Very Heavy work: exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time). Possible exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances.
