About the role
Hale Makua is seeking dedicated Nurse Aides to provide hands-on care and support to our residents in a positive, team-focused environment. Located in Maui, Hale Makua is a non-profit nursing facility committed to improving the well-being of its residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care and support to residents
- Respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately
- Inform Charge Nurse when required
- Orient residents to the unit and facility
- Introduce residents to the dining schedule and activities
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
- Completed State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Training Program
- Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house)
