Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full scope of site activities during the Inquiry to Order (ITO) and/or Order to Remittance (OTR) phases for construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Act as the primary on-site leader, directly reporting to the Project Director.
- Manage, lead, and develop the site team, including contractors and sub-contractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Efficiently manage all site resources and logistics, including equipment, materials, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and cost parameters in compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Proactively monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies. Leverage expertise to find creative solutions for business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services.
- Drive operational excellence through regular site inspections and audits. Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services, utilizing an understanding of industry trends to inform decision-making.
- Maintain accurate site records, including comprehensive progress reports, daily logs, safety documentation, and quality control checks. Effectively communicate complex messages and negotiate internally to gain alignment, influencing peers and presenting business or technical solutions to leaders. Also, engage and potentially negotiate with external partners, vendors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and rigorously enforce comprehensive safety programs and protocols to ensure a zero-incident culture and uphold the highest quality standards on site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in site management or a similar leadership role, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, construction methods, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
