About the Role
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs both routine and advanced imaging procedures, supports colleagues, and ensures efficient patient flow. They troubleshoot equipment, participate in quality assurance, and stay current with safety and technical advancements.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Promote a professional environment and collaborate with medical staff
- Adapt patient care to individual needs
- Work flexible shifts across multiple campuses
- Maintain image quality in PACS
- Report equipment issues
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program
- ARRT or NMTCB certification
- Valid state licensure
- BLS certification
- Prior clinical nuclear medicine experience (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
